TBTB has received a lot of emails asking for clarification on Benjamin Godfre's connection to the Tickle Community. Benjamin is a model, skateboarder and Internet personality. He is also known as Fiero of My Friends Feet and was recently voted "Discovery of the Year."

The stage name Fiero was assigned to Ben by the site, but he has since posted a TBTB interview on his own site where he steps away from the stage name and owns his fetish work as his own. As a matter of policy TBTB does not identify talent by any name other than their stage name- unless the performer in question chooses to do so.

Jason Strong Named Switch Hitter of the Year!

It's one thing to be a great Tickler. It's another to be a great Ticklee. It is yet another to be a great Switch Hitter. To be both a skilled tickler and responsive, dynamic ticklee is extremely rare indeed. This year TBTB readers voted Jason Strong of of Jason Strong Tickling as their favorite Switch Hitter.

Jason is one of the few performers on the scene who appears equally comfortable in the role of tickler and ticklee (Although he seems to enjoy the former more.)

Many readers wrote in saying that they want to see more flicks featuring Jason as a ticklee. When it came to naming the best tickler working in the industry today, TBTB readers spoke loud and clear: Rich (aka Cat in Hat) of My Friend's Feet is their choice as the best of the best. Long considered the King of Tickle Flicks, he is recognized here for both the Single Best Performance by a Tickler this Year and even more impressively, for the Best Body of Work by a Tickler of the year.

In the Single Best Performance by a Tickler, Rich is honored for his work in the scene which is simply and aptly named "Dane Gets Pushed Past His Ticklish Limits In The Tickling Chair..." And it is the pushing past limits that make this performance a stand out. Over the course of the flick, Rich pushes Dane further and further, getting the kind of results that only a very skilled and determined tickler can. He is aided in his efforts by the "Tickle Chair". (The results produced in this chair always exceed results with the same models on a table. As Rich has pointed out prior however, it is very uncomfortable and hard on the models- thus it is used sparingly.) This particular tickle flick is widely considered by tickle enthusiasts to be among the best of all time. A convergence of a perfect ticklee, situation and tickler coupled with the pushing of limits. As impressive as this achievement is, it is only a fraction of what Rich has achieved over the course of the last year.

The Reason TBTB readers chose Rich as Tickler of the year are many and varied. One such reason is that he is known and respected for being a highly skilled ticker. As such he switches tickle spots and tickle tools with the frequently required to maximize the ticklee's response. If he is getting a good reaction that is building however, he doesn't just switch for the sake of switching. Rather he makes the switch when reactions are beginning to fade and he is getting a diminishing return for his efforts. It is this- his skill and ability to read his ticklee that helped make him the Best Tickler of the Year- but there is more.

If you should ever doubt the impact of the skills of a master tickler you need only look to examples on My Freind's Feet. Frank DeFoe, while a good ticklee under most any circumstances, gives his best performances beneath the fingers tips of Rich. Brother's Michael and Christian Fitt give amazing performances being tickled by Rich- yet their efforts to go solo failed flatly. Jason Strong Takes Top Prize as Best Director for a Scripted TIckle Flick!

Jason Strong is one of the most prolific, respected tickle flick directors/producers/performers in the business. At the core of his success is his ability to produce story lines that often times involve complex out door locations and multiple actors. Jason was singled out this year as Best Director for a Scripted Tickle Flick for his work in an amazing, understated work of genius called Texas Cheat'em.

The camera work in this scene is among the best of all time. It opens from a point of view beneath a table with a close up of Jason's feet. The camera then pans to a close up of model Jim's feet. We then glide up above the table and find Jason and Jim playing cards, where we get story and nice closeups of the intended ticklee. Once Jim is restrained for his inevitable tickling we start with a close shot of a bound hand and then pan his body with close shots of almost every inch of him. We get great shots of both the tops and bottoms of his feet- a rare and highly valued feature.

TBTB Readers voted PSM the best new Clips Store of the Year! The reasons readers sited for choosing PSM was many and varied.

The short collective answer however is that the site came on to the scene with a bang and never got lazy. It stayed fresh with ideas, variety of models, fantastic performances, directing and editing. Many readers were quick to point out that the site founder, Matteo has created a tremendous body of quality work over the course of the past year and is worthy of special recognition.

One of the ways the site remains unique is by including amazing public tickling scenes that often times include large numbers of people. It is fresh and truly fantastic!

Another way PSM stays ahead of much of it's competition is by offering variety in their models. While most viewers stay on alert for any new scenes featuring sexy Italian men, the site also includes models from other countries such as the amazingly hot Venezuelan model above. They also feature models ranging from twinks, to bears, conservatives in ties, to alternative hipsters. With Progetto Solletico Maschile leading the way, TBTB readers would happily comply. This new, dynamic production company shows the promise of becoming a tickle flick power house. I recently had the opportunity to interview the founder Matteo and here is what he had to say:
TBTB: How did PSM come about?
PSM: PSM (which actually stands for “Progetto Solletico Maschile” - “Male Tickling Project” in Italian - and was adapted as “Project: Stimulation of Men” only to maintain the acronym) has been a “dream” I’ve chased for a long time, from when I became a “pioneer” of erotic tickling in Italy.
Since I was a teenager, at the beginning of the 21st century, when there was nothing in Italy representing our fetish and culture (I feel like part of a community), I was one of the most active tickle lovers in my country, soon becoming the link between the members of the Italian tickling community, meeting them all over the nation (I traveled miles for that), starting to film the first Italian amateur tickling movies (my “private“ experiences!) and put them on the web, thus helping one “ticklephile” connect to another and in doing so I was laying the foundations for what would become a stronger community.
I gave notes and suggestions to a friend of mine, my “tickle partner” at the time, to create the first Italian tickling online forum, still active and the most known and used by national M/M tickling lovers.
Finally, in 2006, the time had come to organize the first “tickle party” in Italy, which I actually did in my very own home, with a bunch of people who are now the biggest ticklephiles in Italy and, having learnt from it, are now engaging in more and more tickling experiences and fun.
I soon learned a lesson: if you want something to change, start trying to make it change yourself. With this new outlook, and motivated by my past experiences and goals, I created a “PSM" Facebook group, which soon facilitated regular public meetings between small groups of erotic tickling enthusiasts from all over Italy, as well as national parties and now even a production company.
TBTB: What has been the biggest upside to starting your own production company?

TBTB: Do your family or friends know about your tickle flick work? If yes, what are their thoughts?

TBTB: How did your first appearance in a tickle flick come about?

Lucas: Lukasz, the owner of PolishBoysFeet.com is my friend for quite a long time. We met at the University a few years ago. I am fully aware that it’s a gay business even though I’m completely straight. But I really want to broaden my horizons – it means that I have no borders sometimes… That’s why I agreed with no doubts to be tied up and harshly tickled… Of course the money matters so I thought ‘let’s have sun fun!’

Say No to the Bell Ringers!

We say or do very little that is political here at TBTB. Given that you can't go to the store in the US this time of year without encountering a Salvation Army bell ringer, I thought it was important to pass on a few facts. When the ringers ask me for a donation I almost always take time to say "I don't give money to the Salvation Army because they discriminate against gay people." The Bush administration is working with the nation's largest charity, the Salvation Army, to make it easier for government-funded religious groups to discriminate against gay people in hiring, according to an internal Salvation Army document.

The White House has made a "firm commitment" to the Salvation Army to issue a regulation protecting such charities from state and city laws that prevent discrimination against gays in hiring and domestic-partner benefits, according to the Salvation Army report....

George Hood, a senior official with the Salvation Army, said the group never discriminates in delivering its services, but on the question of hiring gay employees, 'it really begins to chew away at he theological fabric of who we are"

And here are a few beauts from the Salvation Army's various Web sites around the world that I pulled up a while back:

"Christians whose sexual orientation is primarily or exclusively same-sex are called upon to embrace celibacy as a way of life. There is no scriptural support for same-sex unions as equal to, or as an alternative to, heterosexual marriage." - Salvation Army USA Web site, Dec. 2003

"[Homosexual activity is] as rebellion against God's plan for the created order.... Homosexual practice, however, is, in the light of Scripture, clearly unacceptable. Such activity is chosen behaviour and is thus a matter of the will. It is therefore able to be directed or restrained in the same way heterosexual urges are controlled. Homosexual practice would render any person ineligible for full membership (soldiership) in the [Salvation] Army." - Salvation Army Australia Web site (emphasis added)

Then in Scotland, the Salvation Army actively lobbied against the repeal of anti-gay laws banning the "promotion" of homosexuality as a "pretended family relationship," arguing that it would harm children:

As the Salvation Army's Scotland Secretary I am writing to you on his behalf to share with you the views of The Salvation Army on this important matter.

We welcome your recognition that marriage is still the ideal context for raising children and your assurances regarding guidelines for teachers in recent discussion on the repeal of "Section 28". However, we believe that by repealing this clause, the Scottish Executive will potentially be harming both children and the family unit.

We are concerned that we cannot predict the result of a repeal, and feel the floodgates could be opened, ultimately causing great hurt to both parents, teachers and our children. We are also very aware of the increasing pressures on young people to experiment with heterosexual sex at a younger age, without the additional pressure of self-questioning regarding homosexual sex.

As an international church and charity which supports and helps any person regardless of sex, race or religion, The Salvation Army believes that, contrary to the Executive's view, the proposed repeal would increase discrimination and result in more bullying in our schools. We can easily envisage a situation where, due to active promotion of homosexuality in schools, children will grow up feeling alienated if they fail to conform.

Then there was the time that the Salvation Army caved to the religious right and took rescinded domestic partner benefits for its gay employees. These are not nice people.

Brady Jensen Recaptures Title as Porn Star With Sexiest Feet

Over the course of those five years Tkl Frat has experienced tremendous success. According to co-founder Ajon, the site has approximately 2,500 members who have made more than 50,000 posts in over 8,000 thread topics!

The significance of Tkl Frat winning this honor should not be underestimated. For some tickling is only about libido and nothing more. And while that is well and good, it is nice to see members of the tickle community step up and express their appreciation for a site that serves so many facets of our complex individual and collective needs and wants.

All of this is made possible by co-founders Troy and Ajon who work very hard, with no financial compensation. Tkl Frat Co-Founder and Community Leader Troy; The Interview

Anyone interested in M/M tickling knows that the bulk of tickling related sites are designed to please our libidos. Few are intended to feed our hearts or minds. Tkl Frat is the most significant exception to this norm. It is a safe place that inspires community, sharing, and normalizes tickling by bringing it into the light. Tkl Frat also works to help us define who we are and works to preserve our history. It is in short, a unique treasure. This site is the brainchild and product of selfless work on the part of community leaders Troy and Jon.

I recently had the privilege of interviewing half of that duo, Troy about his labor of love.

TBTB: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and what role tickling plays in your life? Troy: Here goes.. I live in New England, I work as a vet tech, especially with 'special needs' pets. I share my home with a wonderful platonic partner, and our many dogs and cats. For me, tickling is a "bedroom sport", if you know what I mean. It carries some erotic overtones for me, tho not all tickling is sexual, it does arouse me sexually, tho for the life of me, I have no idea how this fetish manifested itself with me, it's just always been there. I'd really like to know how this became such a part of me. TBTB: How did Tkl Frat come to be? Troy: Well, a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...Oh wait, wrong saga.. What happened was simple, really. A few years ago, Jon and I were bemoaning the loss of Jack's Rack and remarking how, with the then-proliferation of yahoo groups devoted to */M tickling, groups which came and went at the owner's whim, there was no central "clearinghouse" for the community, no one place video producers could be assured of getting word out of their latest projects and releases, not even a guaranteed place budding authors and artists could share their talents first-hand with people, and how, with the community being split and scattered over so many smaller Yahoo groups, that it felt like there was no sense of "camaraderie" anymore. We then decided that rather that sit back and moan, to take proactive steps and see about bringing back people to one place. With the help of many of the "elder statesmen" of our community, word got out and people flocked to the site. It wasn't all sunshine and unicorn burps though, it was a rocky road at times, full of frustration, annoyances and late nite HTML meltdowns, but we've managed to hold on for 4 years now, and I think we've taken what Jack had begun, and managed to improve on it, while staying close to the ideals Jack had when he started out. TBTB: Tkl Frat serves many important roles for the Tickling Community. One is preservation of our history. Can you please talk about what efforts are currently being undertaken in this regard? Troy: One project we are working on is attempting to track down as much pre-internet material that people may have,such as stories, pics, artwork, audio and video tapes, etc, and preserving them electronically for archivng and for people to continue to be able to enjoy. Many people who are just coming to terms with our common interest and discovering TKLFrat.com or any of the other sites out there dedicated to male tickling, have no idea who Bob Jones was, or Dreamscape Comics, or even the prolific authors of the time. It's a part of our early history, and we feel it should be preserved and archived.

TBTB: Tkl Frat appears to be a very safe place for it's members. It is free of the ranting of persons with serious emotional health issues that adversely impact many similar forums past and present. How have you managed to create and maintain such a uniquely positive on line environment? Troy: By keeping one finger firmly on the BAN button. LOL. We've tried to make TKL a safe place for all, and in the past when that type of situation has happened, we've attempted to nip it in the bud in as supportive and non-confrontational ways as possible. Sadly, there has been times we have had to ask members to leave and not return, and it is never easy for us, and not something we rush into. Also, many of our members do what they can to help out in those circumstances and have, at times, diffused difficult situations before Jon or I even had a chance to come online and see what had transpired. TBTB: When it comes to the site and/or the members, do you have any pet peeves? Troy: I do, actually. my two pet peeves are authors who submit stories but do not check for grammar or punctuation. One thing I cannot abide is a tickling story written as one run-on sentence. My other pet peeve is that type of person we refer to as the "Gimmes". Those people who only post, asking for things, but never contributing back or even participate in any of our many discussions, but only come around to see what they can get. TBTB: I would imagine that running Tkl Frat is a lot of work, yet you do it free of charge. What do you get out of it that keeps you going? What is the up side? Troy: For me, I find it rewarding knowing that I am giving back what I can to a community that has given me so much. What I get out of it, primarily is the bonds I have made with people. For example, I consider Jon to be a close personal friend, tho we have never met in person. Also, just knowing that Jack, who was a major player in the early Internet tickling world, created something we have been able to take, update and continue going. In time, we will be passing on the reigns to a new group of people, and I am heartened to know that the work we are doing will benefit future ticklers someday. Also, we all went through that "Am I a freak?" phase when we first realized this aspect of our lives, and it's great to know that TKL provides a "you ain't the only one" place where new people first discovering this side of themselves can come and feel part of a growing vibrant community.

TBTB: What is the down side?

Troy: The downside, at least speaking for myself, is sometimes coming away from the site feeling "jaded" about tickling. For a while, it had basically sapped my interest in the fetish and it took me a good deal of time to realize that the site would go on even if I took a few steps back from the day-to-day administering. I had begun to equate tickling with the stress I was having in running the site, trying to arrange updates, etc. But that has changed and I don't let it get to me as much anymore. I've learned it's ok to just log off and let the problem be. And usually when I return, the problem has solved itself.

TBTB: Are the people in your daily life aware of Tkl Frat?

Troy: No, I keep this aspect of my life quite hidden.

TBTB: What changes have you seen in the tickling community since Tkl Frat's inception?

Troy: I've seen a great many new video producers hit the market, like Jason Strong, Slytkl, M and V out in SF, among others, and with all due respect to Rich (Cat ) and the others who have been making videos for a while now, our community is better served by such a diverse and varied selection. Another thing I am seeing, and this is a wonderful thing, is more acceptance for the sub-groups within the tickling group, be it straight guys into male/male tickling, or guys for whom tickling is mixed with sexual acts, or what have you. Tkl Frat Co-Founder AJon, The Interview

As most readers of TBTB likely know, Tkl Frat,http://www.tklfrat.com/, is a message board that serves as the gathering place for our community. While most Tickle sites rightly strive to feed our libidos, Tkl Frat strives to couple that with efforts to feed our minds and enhance our emotional health as well. It is a safe place to explore all things related to M/M Tickling. In addition, Tkl Frat is working diligently to preserve our history, a goal of great importance.

A few weeks ago we had the honor of hearing from Troy, the co-founder of Tkl Frat. His counterpart, AJon, now offers us his perspective on the role tickling plays in his life and the role he plays with his iconic site:
TBTB: Can you tell us a little bit about yourselves and what role tickling plays in your lives?

AJON: I’m of the X generation, but somehow got contaminated with quite a lot of Gen Y traits, including ingesting potent doses of Internet to my system each week.

The relevance to tickling is that the web has done wonders for promoting fan followings of... ‘stuff’, and I’ve elected to treat this particular ‘stuff’ as something that I wanted to engage with in the manner of a fan. Admittedly we’re not quite as intense in tickling fandom as some of our peers who follow rock bands or movie franchises, but we try our best.

Oh and yes - I do have a tickling fetish dating back to my formative years. It gets acted on fairly regularly, I guess.

TBTB: How did Tkl Frat come to be?

AJON: In addition to what Troy covered about ephemeral platforms like some of the yahoo or MSN groups, there was one specific closure of a board that I think provided the conversation starter for us. Footfriends once hosted three message boards, spanning feet, footwear and tickling interests. Their tickling board suddenly ceased functioning in about October 06.

That year I’d become a helper on Troy’s yahoo group that focused on swapping of old audio or video clips. So we had this IM chat in early November 06, wondering what, if anything, would follow the shutting-down of Footfriends’ board.

The correct technical term for what then occurred over the next 3 weeks creating TKLfrat would be ‘a whim’. Or perhaps a series of them.

TBTB: Tkl Frat serves many important roles for the Tickling Community. One is preservation of our history. Can you please talk about what efforts are currently being undertaken in this regard?

AJON: It can sometimes be subtle things, like having the right topic visibility so that people feel comfortable “nerding-out” on something they have knowledge about, or have always wondered about. Hence once again it’s clear - we must all be the best fanboys we can be!

TBTB: Tkl Frat appears to be a very safe place for it's members. It is free of the ranting of persons with serious emotional health issues that adversely impact many similar forums past and present. How have you managed to create and maintain such a uniquely positive on line environment?

AJON: It does seem that the mere fact of having a moderated forum and a person dealing with the member registrations probably solved 95% of potential grief of the ranting variety in advance.

In some matters our members are probably in fact quicker to err on the side of caution than I’d really ask of them. So they can take a bit of credit too.

TBTB: When it comes to the site and/or the members, do you have any pet peeves?

AJON: Am I allowed to use the word ‘horny’? Hmm let’s assume I am. Well it’s a no-brainer that for many members, the time they would think to log in is when they’re a bit tickle horny (or a lot).

However, our structure is geared towards topical forums, as opposed say your typical networking pages set up for browsing other guys’ pic albums. So there are times where the horny attendee thinks he’s earnestly posting on-topic. But the reality is it reads more like he’s just typing the first thing that will deliver some rapid cyber gratification.

I don’t have a solution for the above peeve however. The only pointer would be – if it feels like you’ve just become a starring character in a discussion topic which didn’t previously have a starring character, might pay to check back over the text before hitting Submit.

TBTB: I would imagine that running Tkl Frat is a lot of work, yet you do it free of charge. What do you get out of it that keeps you going? What is the up side?

AJON: The connectedness across the globe never really gets old for me. I’m situated in the relative remoteness of the Australian east coast, but TKLfrat avails me of contact with people all over the place.

TBTB: What is the down side?

AJON: Fetish De-sensitization! But I note it probably doesn’t impinge one’s actual ticklishness in real life. That’s an interesting point for hypothesis – I wonder what would happen if I’d foolishly volunteered myself to the usual bastardry of a good ‘ler, but then in the midst of that tickling someone else approached waving a laptop in my direction and showed me a TKLfrat forum thread that needed merging or moving. Will have to experiment with that some time.

TBTB: Are the people in your daily life aware of Tkl Frat?

AJON: No, Sydney is about as much of a desert for tickling interest as most places, so I don’t have opportunities to chat about it. For some reason that feels kind of normal to me - must be the fanboy aspect again. I don’t reckon the Trekkers or Whovians or members of the KISS Army talk all that much about their indulgences among civilian comrades either.

TBTB: What changes have you seen in the tickling community since Tkl Frat's inception?

AJON: We probably came a bit late to sample changes as dramatic as say a decade earlier when using the web went mainstream.

I see small things that have resulted of that first big Internet wave having permeated through, and people starting to really acclimatize. For example a number of my younger online tickle friends seem a lot less pedantic about the whole anonymity thing. And it’s not set in stone that they must achieve full ‘partitioning’ of their tickle friend network from their mainstream one. This Gen X-er is gradually coming around to their World view also.

TBTB: Are there any changes in store for Tkl Frat?

AJON: There’s a lot of options branching out from the basic forum model that deserve to be pursued. Many people seem to miss having the dedicated web albums of artwork.

Our main obstacle is that trusty rule called the “good, cheap, quick” triangle, which states:

· We can do something good and quick, but it won’t be cheap

· We can do something good and cheap, but it won’t be quick

· We can do something cheap and quick, but it won’t be good

TBTB: If history is any measure, whatever Tkl Frat does will be better than good.

He is a gifted Director, balancing the wants and needs of his producer, his talent and a diverse, oft demanding audience. The needs of TBTB readers tend to be rather specific, yet Jasun, working with pioneer Jake Cruise, finds ways to create material that meets our needs without alienating his larger audience. I recently had an opportunity to interview Jasun about his career, the role of humor in porn and of course tickling.

TBTB: How did land in your current position at Jake Cruise Media?

JASUN: Jake and I had known each other for a few years. We always got along well and I always knew that I could do some fun stuff working with him. We were having dinner one night and he told me about a site he was calling "Jake's Men" which was going to be "Jake Cruise without the Jake." As that idea developed, we knew it was going to be something different... something fun. And that's why I left my last job to come work on what was eventually became Cocksure Men.

TBTB: You are seen by many, including myself as one of the best directors working in gay porn today. You have a style that is fun, playful and very much your own. Is this an innate sensibility or something that you work at?

JASUN: Wow. Thanks. I mean... I still feel like I'm learning every day. I've always had a pretty warped sense of humor in everything I ever created from the music I was writing in high school to the stories I'd write and even the film projects I did in college. I remember writing a song in high school called "Stand Up" which was about football players checking out each other's cocks in the shower after practice. So I've always had a love for pushing people's turn-on buttons. Making porn I think is the perfect job for me. I don't have to pretend it's an accident when I do something funny that's also hot.

Maybe because of my vaguely warped sense of humor, I always want to see a guy's face. Some of the models are confused when I tell them to smile while they've got a dick in their mouths or their tongue in a guy's ass. And I always say something like "dude, you got your tongue buried in Brady Jensen's ass.. I mean... If I were you, I'd be smiling so big my head would crack off in the middle." Then they get it. TBTB: One of the things our readers appreciate most about your work is the fact that you have some incredible tickle moments in so many of your scenes. Do you tell the guys you’re going to tickle them or do you surprise them with it?

JASUN: I hate to ruin people's fantasy too much but I'll usually sit down with every guy before I work with him... get him alone so he's not embarrassed to say anything or worried about hurting anyone's feelings... see where his boundaries are. See how far he'll let me push them. I'll ask guys if they're Ok with their feet being played with. If they're at all nervous about answering that... I'll just slip in "oh.. you ticklish?" And sometimes they'll sheepishly say "yes," thinking I'll not include it. That's when I'll say "ok... and.. are you OK being tickled?" They're usually pretty surprised that I want them to fall out of that "Macho Man" persona.

Most studios wouldn't think that was sexy. Luckily Jake gives me a pretty free reign on what I put into scenes. He trusts me by this point to know what works and what just doesn't.

OH... but I should tell you about the Jeremy Bilding/Kelly Taylor scene which was really the first where I put the tickling front and center. We were shooting outside at the Jake Cruise Ranch. It's very dry there in the summer. So it gets pretty dusty in that back patio set and the guys feet were filthy from walking around before we shot. I grabbed the baby wipes to clean them off and first went to Jeremy... he held on for as long as he could but then erupted in fits of giggling. Then I moved to Kelly to clean his feet and he almost launched up through the ceiling... THAT's when I knew what we were going to do. Oh.. and Girth Brooks. He didn't want to get tickled because he really is pretty ticklish but in the scene with Alessio Romero, I start it with Alessio jumping on Girth while he's sleeping and waking him up tickling him. Girth resisted a bit but Alessio, who's a good friend of his, kinda teased him about being too chicken to do it. So Girth had to man up a bit and take it. It's a pretty fun scene.

JASUN: One of Jake's mandates with Cocksure Men is that although we throw in a lot of nods to the guys who have those fun and off-beat micro-fetishes, we never get bogged down with them. I think the balance that we've managed to strike when we're successful is that the guys into the tickling (or whatever, really) get off on it... but the guys who aren't into it barely notice it because it's all just part of the whole scene.

TBTB: Is there any chance that Jake Cruise Media will be doing any full on tickle torture scenes in the future?

JASUN: I dunno... Probably not the way we have things set up right now. But we're working on a few ideas where something like that would fit right in. You'll be the first to know.

TBTB: Jake Cruise Media has become one of the most important resources the tickle community has for getting information on which porn stars are and are not ticklish. Sometimes Jake doesn’t test out the models for ticklishness on camera however. Is that simply part of Jake’s great spontaneity or is tickling off limits for some of the models?
JASUN: Some guys either just aren't ticklish at all or they REALLY don't want to get tickled on camera. I just did a massage scene where I massaged Shane Frost. He's very ticklish but tickling doesn't really "fit" with a massage... those are supposed to be sensual and relaxing. Sadly, our massage scenes DO have to have some foot massaging and foot play. TBTB: Have you ever had a model refuse to be tickled? If yes, can you tell us who and why?

JASUN: I mean... some guys just don't want to and if I don't have a really good relationship with them yet, I won't push it. It took me AGES to get Jeremy Bilding to the point that he was comfortable enough with me to allow himself to get tickled on camera. I think it's happened since but there was a time that he'd only been rimmed twice on camera and both times I was the one shooting it. I think also some guys really want to feel a certain vibe from shoots... if there's something they really feel will kill their boner, we won't do it. I've never had anyone make a big stink and say they wouldn't but I can always tell when a guy really would prefer not to... so I don't press the issue. Maybe those guys will reach that point later.

Both the quality and quantity of art would set it apart in any adult entertainment venue. The fact that it serves the tickling niche makes it even more extraordinary.

When TBTB first launched, our first interview was with Achilles. He was gracious enough to grant us the interview, when it was uncertain if the community would support a blog such as this. Today Achilles gives us more of his time to tell us about the exciting 5th Year Anniversary of Achilles Heel Art and to talk about some big changes that will be launched later this week. It is as follows:

TBTB: Congratulations on your five year anniversary. Can you tell us what the experience has been like?

A: It's been a lot of work! We've had 215 weekly updates with two drawings in each one. It's hard to believe that it's been this long already. It seems like just yesterday that we were launching.

TBTB:Over the course of time AHA has added a lot of amazing artists. Where do you find them?

A:Various places, but I have to say that several of them were people I'd already known that I'd either gone to school with or worked with in the past. Mr. Zikkon, that bloke from the UK, was the only one I found on an actual professional freelancer's website. Azazello actually approached me with his work, and he's turned out to be a wonderful addition.

TBTB: What is the single most popular work of art on your site?

A: That's a tough one, because I actually don't get a lot of feedback on individual pieces of art. I think it's safe to say that the ones people seem to universally like are the ones that feature celebrities getting tickled. My site is the only place you're going to see Matt Damon or Ricky Martin strapped down and getting their feet tickled, so I think people really respond to those images.

TBTB: What is the request you get most often?

A: Once again, it's probably celebrities and even political figures. Everyone has that one person that they are really dying to see tickled for one reason or another. I'd also say that about 90% of the fantasies involve feet. Foot ticklers seem to have a huge majority over upper body ticklers.

TBTB: What has been your best moment related to the site?

A: I guess getting to meet other tickling "celebrities" for lack of a better term. I've met CatInHat from MyFriendsFeet and Alan Pratt, and the infamous GuyTickle and all of them have been super nice and very complimentary towards my work and AchillesHeelArt. It's great to get recognition from people whose work you also enjoy.

TBTB: What has been the most rewarding part of running the site?

A: The positive feedback from people who really enjoy our work is always rewarding. Also, I feel like I've logged more actual drawing time in the past 5 years than I did in the 10 years before that, so just getting in this much practice is always good.

TBTB: What has been the most challenging or disappointing?

A: Our numbers. I knew the M/M tickling community was fairly small, but it turns out that the subset of M/M tickling lovers who also enjoy erotic artwork is even smaller. Unfortunately, we're not the smashing success that I'd hoped we would be when we launched. We don't come close to the companies that are putting out tickling videos with live models.

TBTB: What are you doing to remedy that?

A: Well, as part of our 5 year anniversary, the site is going through a bit of a redesign and we're adding a whole new section! We're going to be offering 4 pieces a week instead of just 2, and 2 of those pieces will be of either M/F, F/M or F/F tickling. I'm hoping that we'll attract enough additional business to keep us afloat. Watch my blog for more details about this new section in the coming weeks!

TBTB: Do you have any final thoughts you would like to leave readers with?

A: Just a big thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. I know in these tough times that a luxury like tickle torture art gets pushed to the bottom of the list, but I'm very grateful to the people who have kept us going for this long.
